Thank you for visiting our web site. We would like to introduce you to our specially designed Narrow Boat Insurance. We have been established since 1948 and having provided insurance for the marine world since the 70’s, we take great pride in our policies, which have been tried and tested over that period of time. We are also one of the market leaders in the UK for Sub Aqua Insurance.
£3 Million Third Party Liability
Third Party Liability insurance maybe a requirement to use your boat on our inland waterways. For smaller craft it is often a requirement to be able to launch your craft. Many marinas and boatyards also require you to have Third Party Liability cover. Our cover does not require you to be a member of any association; all we ask is the helmsman has adequate experience to navigate the vessel.
Accidental Damage
Navigating locks along the way can be tricky business and you never know what is lurking under the water’s surface. Our policy covers accidental damage and also includes underwater machinery that maybe damaged whilst in use or not in use.
Theft Cover
LEAD DEVELOPER
Theft Cover or attempted theft is provided for both the craft itself and fixtures and fittings.
Should you wish to add to this Personal Possessions such as livaboard contents, Laptops, mobile phones, pedal cycles, pedal cycles etc. this can be arranged for at additional premium.
Low Excess
The Policy Carries a low excess of only for both Livaboard and Private and Pleasure use.
Fire & Flood Damage
In the unfortunate event you suffer flooding of the boat either by external water or your own internal plumbing the damage caused is covered under the policy. In the same fashion if fire damage is caused to the vessel from external or internal causes, for example kitchen fires, cover is also included for the damage caused.
